It is our pleasure to welcome you to the Young Researchers Symposium organized by the Population and Social Policies Research Center of Marmara University. This symposium provides a scholarly platform designed to support and showcase the research of early-career academics working across the fields of political science, sociology, international relations, and related disciplines.

The symposium aims to provide an inclusive environment where early-career researchers can present their work, engage in constructive dialogue, and build scholarly networks that transcend borders. Through interdisciplinary panels and open discussion, participants will explore contemporary issues ranging from identity and political leadership to regional security, diplomacy, and evolving global dynamics.

We hope that the discussions held throughout the sessions will not only enhance the analytical depth of the presented works but also foster new avenues of collaboration among participants. We extend our sincere appreciation to all contributors, moderators, and attendees whose engagement supports the mission of strengthening a dynamic and interconnected community of young researchers.

The participants of the Young Researchers Symposium are seven young researchers from various European universities who are completing their internships at the Marmara University Population and Social Policies Research Center within the framework of the Erasmus+ Internship Program. We warmly welcome these emerging scholars who are taking their first steps into academia under our roof.
